Yes Cup 2026: Milan welcomes back Italy’s largest international youth Easter football tournament

Milan is once again preparing to host the Yes Cup, Italy’s largest international youth football tournament held during the Easter period, which in 2026 reaches its fifth edition.

More international, more attended, and more capable than ever of engaging the entire city: the Yes Cup will return from April 2 to 5, 2026, during the traditional Easter holidays.

A total of 16 sports centers across Milan and its metropolitan area will host the matches of an event that continues to grow year after year.

GROWING NUMBERS

The numbers tell the story of the tournament’s evolution better than words.

In 2026, 26 nations will be represented, compared to 18 in the previous edition. Among the new entries are Japan, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Chile, and Iceland, confirming the increasingly global reach of the event.

The number of participating teams is also rising: 272 teams will take part, up from 176 last year.

Teams will be divided into 14 categories – 10 male and 4 female – ranging from Under 8 to Under 19.

A total of 618 matches will be played over four days, with more than 4,500 young athletes ready to enjoy a unique sporting and human experience.

ITALY AND THE WORLD IN MILAN

Yes Cup represents the meeting of cultures, sport, and territories.

Alongside the many European and international teams, Italy remains a key presence, with teams representing several regions: Lombardy, the host region, as well as Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Tuscany, Marche, Umbria, Puglia, and Sicily.

There will be 49 teams from abroad, with delegations from all over the world bringing different languages, traditions, and cultures to Milan, united by the same passion for football.

THE EXCITEMENT OF THE OPENING CEREMONY AT SAN SIRO STADIUM

Following last year’s great success, the opening ceremony will once again take place at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, the “Temple of Football.”

The stadium’s first red tier will be filled with the flags of the participating countries, creating a major international celebration of youth sport involving nearly 9,000 people, including athletes, families, staff, and guests.

The evening will be hosted by Gli Autogol, among the most popular sports creators in Italy, together with Radio Number One, the event’s media partner, providing music, entertainment, and live coverage. Special guests and well-known figures from past and present football will also be in attendance.

Children and teenagers from all over the world will come together through a shared passion: football, with a ball becoming a symbol of connection, friendship, and inclusion, without barriers or discrimination.

YES CUP PARTNERS

The growth of the Yes Cup is also made possible thanks to the support of companies and organizations that share the values of sport, education, and social inclusion.

Partners of the 2026 edition, promoted by CSAIn Lombardia, include: S. Bernardo, Edilkamin, Go2Pro, Balconi, Ca’ di Rajo, Edison, Festina Orologi, GioiaPura – Migio, Checkpoint, Cantun Bakery & Bistrot, Grandi Forni Italiani, IH Hotels, Goleador, San Carlo with Unica Chips, SVE, AIS, and Italian Taste Experience.

For the 2026 edition, the tournament renews its charity initiative: for every goal scored, €1 will be donated to Fondazione Laureus Italia, turning on-field excitement into real opportunities for many young people and helping ensure access to sport.

Fondazione Laureus Italia promotes sport as an educational and social inclusion tool, offering free sports and educational activities to children and young people from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds, while strengthening community cohesion and participation.
