Yes Cup 2023: Highlights from the Second Edition
From April 6 to 9, 2023, Milan became the capital of international youth football during Easter with Yes Cup 2023. 1,000 young players from 18 nations, 124 teams, 256 matches, and 1,450 goals brought excitement and high-level competition to the city, establishing the tournament as a premier international youth football event.

Yes Cup 2023: 1,450 Goals, 124 Teams and 18 Nations United for Sport and Solidarity
The Yes Cup 2023 concluded with outstanding numbers, bringing together young football talent in the Milan area from April 6 to 9, 2023. With the motto #BringYourFlag, the event, organized by AL2 Sport and sponsored by the municipalities of Rho, Cornaredo, and Pero, featured 1,000 young players from 18 countries, including both boys’ and girls’ teams.

SPIRIT OF THE YES CUP AND CHARITY
The motto “Bring your flag” guided every moment of the tournament. The teams’ flags represented each squad’s identity, culture, and values, turning the tournament into an opportunity for international exchange and personal growth.
A highlight was the partnership with Fundación PUPI, founded by Javier Zanetti and Paula de la Fuente. Through the “Charity Goal” initiative, each goal scored during the tournament raised one euro for the foundation’s projects, totaling 1,450 euros to support children and families in need.
The opening ceremony in Piazza Duomo featured all teams in the Flag Parade, along with video messages from football stars Massimiliano Allegri, Simone Inzaghi, Jorginho, and Javier Zanetti.
LOOKING AHEAD
“We saw many goals and high-quality matches,” says Luciano Langione, founder of the Yes Cup. “We are already planning next year’s edition from March 28 to 31, 2024, aiming to make the tournament even bigger and more spectacular, including continents such as Africa and America alongside Europe.”

Yes Cup 2023: The Largest Youth Football Tournament in Lombardy
The Yes Cup 2023 returns, the largest youth football event in Lombardy, now in its second edition. Under the motto “Bring your flag,” the tournament will take place in the sports centers of Rho, Pero, Parabiago, Assago, Settimo Milanese, and Opera, turning the Milan area into a true capital of international youth sports.

THE NUMBERS OF YES CUP 2023
Yes Cup Lombardy 2023 will involve over 2,000 participants, including 1,000 young athletes from all over Italy and abroad.
The tournament will feature top professional men’s teams such as Atalanta, Monza, Como, and Pro Patria, as well as prestigious women’s teams including Inter, Atalanta, Como Women, Pro Sesto, and Cremonese.
The event is organized by AL2Sport, with the patronage of the municipalities of Rho, Cornaredo, and Pero, and the support of numerous institutional partners
SPORT AND SOLIDARITY: THE COLLABORATION WITH FONDAZIONE PUPI
A major new feature of the 2023 edition is the partnership with Fondazione Pupi, founded by Javier Zanetti and Paula de la Fuente.
Through the “Charity Gol” initiative, every goal scored during the tournament becomes a token donated to the social project “Sport Makes Us Equal,” supporting children and families in need in Argentina.
THE PROGRAM OF YES CUP 2023
– Opening Ceremony – Thursday, April 6 at Palazzetto Pertini in Cornaredo, hosted by journalist and TV producer Daniela Scalia, with performances and special guests including freestyle champion Gunther Celli.
– Kick-off – Friday, April 7 on the fields of Rho, Pero, Assago, Parabiago, Opera, and Settimo Milanese.
– Flag Parade in Milan – Saturday, April 8, teams will parade in Piazza Duomo with their flags in a spectacular event combining sport, culture, and local promotion.
– Finals and Awards – Sunday, April 9, the concluding day of the tournament.
